Adventures at Grandmas

We love to go to grandma's house and while we are there it is always a new adventure! Here are some of the things that we do:

We get hair cuts and drink out the the spray bottle-


We paint our nails-


We make cookies-


and eats lots of cookie dough!-


We play lots of games and love it when grandpa gets to join us-


We explore all of the cupboards-


We take naps-


We play in the sink and have treats-


We do chores-


and last but not least we play a little dress up!

Our New Addition

So we are totally push over parents!! We took Sydney to Rockin E Country Store to see the baby chicks last Saturday. When we walked in Sydney saw the baby bunnies right next to them and she started saying "Oh mom they are so cute and it would be so fun to have one!" I just said oh yeah it would be fun. The Next thing we knew Sydney was picking out the one she wanted to take home. We have never even discussed having a pet but she has been so much fun and the kids just love her! She is pretty spoiled but we are happy to have her. After many name debates, Sydney came up with the name Belle. right after daddy talked her out of Sleeping Beauty!

Good Book

Love Nicholas Sparks!! He is my favorite author and I just finished this latest book!! I can't wait for the movie but...



now I am in a little bit of a predicament... Now I need a new book to read?? Any good suggestions?? I kind of go in waves of reading and right now I am dying to get my hands on a good book!

Olympics

This is what has filled our home for the last week! A quick funny story-- Sydney LOVES to watch the ice skaters and dances right along with them. We were in the car the other day and she said "Mom, I think I want to go to the Olympics!" I very excitedly said- "oh yeah, and what would you like to do?" And she quickly replied " I want to be a cheerleader" I said "Syd, they don't have cheerleaders at the Olympics." She thought for a minute and said "Ok Then I want to be an ice skater." She asks every night if they are going to be on so she can dance! We have really enjoyed watching all the Olympics has to offer! Hope you have enjoyed it to :)
