Don't get me wrong- I love the snow but to survive days like today I just go back to:



In my mind and it makes it a little more manageable! I hope you are all surviving the snow. Well I guess not everyone has snow but where I am at there is ALOT of it!

Real Salt Lake

Can I just say how much fun we had last night watching Real Salt Lake take it all! Soccer has been a big part of mine and Ryan's lives and it was so much fun to see our team be so successful!

Connor's First Birthday

We celebrated Connor's first birthday on October 26Th. A big Thanks to everyone that came and helped out! We had a good time and as you can tell, so did Connor. I still can't believe that he is already one- man time flies my :)

Happy Halloween

We will have Dorothy and the Lion runing around our house today! Hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween!

Our new addiction

I am by no means bakerella or pioneer women but I do get inspiration from the many food blogs that I visit but we do have a new addiction that I have become quite proficient at and I just thought I would share what we have been enjoying at our house!

The Big Day

I know this is a little late but.. The big day was finally here. Sydney's first day of preschool. I can't believe that she is already starting this phase of life but it is great and she absolutely loves it! She loves to come home and tell us what she did and show us her projects! I hope she can continue to be a good student throughout her life! My baby is growing up :(

Fun summer days

We have had some fun days that last couple of weeks. It all started when Tiffany and the kids came for a visit. Let me tell you Sydney was more than thrilled to have Cameron and Brooklyn her for a visit! We had so much fun swimming, going to Kangaroo Zoo, we had a picnic, and just played and played! We also had the annual Moosman Family Reunion! Thanks to my mom for the wonderful day that she put together and for the memories that will last forever! We are so sad that Adam and his family had to go back so soon but it was fun having them here! I celebrated my 24th birthday on the 3rd of July! We had a fun day together with the family! On the forth, we headed to Park City for another week of fun and relaxation with Ryan's family! Thanks Ron and Linda for providing a place for us to enjoy together! We did all there is to do there and had a great time being together! Now the weather is really heating up but we are looking forward to more fun days while summer lasts!

Swimming Lessons

Sydney has been taking swim lessons with her cousin Kyra. She has been having so much fun and I am glad that she is getting more comfortable in the water!

Free Projects

So many of you have been asking about the free classes I talked about in my last post so here are the details. Home Depot has a free kids class the first Saturday of every month. The Home Depot in Layton has the most popular kids club so I suggest being there early. It starts at 9:00-It is first come first serve- The Centerville Home Depot does it also but we have only been to the one in Layton so I would call them and ask for details. Now Lowes does their classes every two weeks. This class you do need to sign up for. You can do it in store or online! They start, I believe at 10:00. We have had so much fun on Saturdays doing these projects and Sydney loves hammering and they get little aprons and either a pin from Home Depot or a patch from Lowes to add to your aprons. Anyway hope this info has helped and hey its free- so why not :)

We went to the Chalk Art Festival in Bountiful with Grandma and had a great time.




We had dinner with my wonderful grandparents! I love them, so much and are glad that Sydney and Connor will know their great grandparents.


Sydney has been building up a storm! We have been going to Home Depot and Lowes on Saturdays where they offer free classes for the kids. This is just one project that she has made.

A little catch up

I am a little behind updating this thing but here are a few things we have been up to:

We spent a great day at the Tulip Festival! If you have never been we highly recommend it!




Connor is now six months old! We have had a few bumps in the road but he is healthy and happy. He will not eat any solids but we will keep trying! He weighs a whopping 21.6 lbs. The doctor told us not to worry about him not eating because he is clearly doing fine :) We like to call him out little Tank :)



Sydney has discovered a new trick and she is very proud of it.


We celebrated Sydney's birthday with family. Having cake and ice cream and opening presents. We went bowling and had such a fun weekend.


Sydney got a new BIG girl bed for her birthday and she is loving it! We are still working on the decorating of her room but the bed was the first step :)
